MoMac at the Rangiora Santa Parade: Our Community Involvement on Display
The Rangiora Santa Parade is one of the key community events in North Canterbury, and this year our MoMac team was proud to take part with our first official parade entry. The MoMac Ford Ranger joined the lineup alongside many well-known local groups and businesses, with Rangiora Toyota leading the event as the naming sponsor and towing the Santa float.
Taking part gave us a chance to support a long-running community tradition and show our commitment to the people and places that shape our work.
Teamwork Behind the Scenes
A big part of the experience happened before the parade even began. Our team came together to decorate the MoMac Ford Ranger and prepare for the day. Brad took on driving duties while Ryan, Garry, and Josh walked the route capturing video and photos. We also had the kids on the back of the truck and support from Garry’s wife, making it a genuine team and family effort.
These moments reflect what we value as a business. Supporting our people and giving them opportunities to connect with each other and their community is an important part of how we operate.
A New Way to Experience the Rangiora Santa Parade
Being in the parade offered a new perspective compared to previous years of simply watching from the crowd. The streets were lined with families, and the atmosphere showcased what makes North Canterbury a strong and connected region. The event was well run by Rangiora Promotions, and the weather made the day even better.
To capture the full experience, we mounted a GoPro Fusion on the roof of the MoMac Ranger and filmed the parade route in 360°. This immersive video lets viewers explore every angle of the event and see what it was like from our point of view.
Supporting North Canterbury and Community Initiatives
MoMac has always aimed to be a community-first creative and marketing agency. Being part of the Rangiora Santa Parade aligns with our goal of supporting local initiatives and contributing to positive experiences within our region. Events like these allow us to give back, be present, and stay connected to the communities we serve.
We appreciate the work of Rangiora Promotions for organising a smooth and successful event and acknowledge Rangiora Toyota for their role as naming sponsor and for towing the Santa float. Their involvement played a big part in bringing the parade to life.
Looking Ahead
The 2025 Rangiora Santa Parade was a good reminder of why community engagement matters. We enjoyed taking part and value the chance to support an event that brings so many people together. As we continue to grow, we will keep finding ways to stay involved, support local initiatives, and contribute to the North Canterbury community.
