Since its establishment in 2002 by the Waimakariri and Hurunui District Councils, Enterprise North Canterbury (ENC) has been a driving force behind the economic development of North Canterbury. MoMac proudly joined hands with ENC to contribute our visual storytelling expertise through photography, videography, and video editing.

A significant part of our collaboration involved the creation of compelling videos for the Move On Up campaign. These videos serve as vibrant invitations, showcasing North Canterbury as the ultimate place to live. Through engaging storytelling, we capture the thriving lives of community members who have chosen North Canterbury for their homes, jobs, and families. Our lens paints a vivid picture of the community’s vitality, enticing potential newcomers to make North Canterbury their home.

In 2022, ENC recieved the prestigious Wellbeing Economy Alliance Best Practice for Inclusive Development Award at the EDNZ awards gala. We were honoured to be part of this celebration, providing video content that explained the significance of their award as they accepted it. This video not only highlights ENC’s success but also emphasises the pivotal role of small businesses in fostering growth in North Canterbury.

Complementing our videography efforts, we curated a collection of captivating photographs, both for the Move On Up campaign and ENC’s broader initiatives. These images stand as visual testaments to the vibrancy, diversity, and growth of the North Canterbury community.

The transition, initially challenging due to the climate difference, was made easier with the support of Patoa Farms, offering flexible working hours and assistance in settling into their rural community in Hawarden.
