Back in 2017, MoMac started as a one-person idea in a Rangiora living room. No big funding, no flashy offices — just a camera, a lot of passion, and the belief that local businesses deserved better creative work.
Eight years on, we’ve grown into a team of 16 and have been lucky enough to work with hundreds of businesses across North Canterbury, New Zealand, and even Australia. We’ve built websites, made videos, told stories, and hopefully helped other businesses chase their own dreams along the way.
We’re still proud underdogs. We’re not the biggest agency out there, and we don’t pretend to be. But we care deeply about our community, we work hard, and we believe in proving that world-class creativity can come from right here in North Canterbury.
For us, the People’s Choice Award isn’t about being the loudest or the flashiest. It’s about celebrating how far a small-town idea can go — and how much further it can go with the support of people like you.
